I love Ayurveda and believe everyone needs to understand and practice this ancient wisdom. It’s the most accessible way to understand yourself and what you need in order to feel your best and love this love the most.
With over 15 years in the yoga + wellness industry, I have personally experienced days and weeks where I believed I hated my job and felt incredibly lost. I was doing what I loved, but I had trouble with time management, saying no, and setting boundaries. There was a time when I was regularly getting sick, overbooking myself to pay bills, not sleeping, and experiencing chronic digestive and skin issues. I was ignoring my personal life as well as my personal needs, my body, and everything my inner wisdom was trying to tell me.
Once I began embracing the teachings of Ayurveda, everything started to align, and I began to understand what real balance felt like. I started to sleep better, heal my digestion, strengthen my immune system, feel better in my body, and move away from chronic pain, recover faster, and value my boundaries and create deeper relationships. I realized I needed to learn more and figure out how to get these teachings into the world, so I immersed myself in trainings, workshops, and schools (to name a few: The Sister Science, Bridge Ayurveda, Boston Ayurveda School, Kripalu School of Ayurveda)

My name is Lisa Bermudez. I specialize in helping you recognize roadblocks, patterns, and habits that prevent you from living the most inspired, uplifted, balanced life imaginable.
I used to struggle with boundaries, saying no, and asking for what I wanted. My digestion was a mess, my sleep schedule was nonexistent, and I had trouble finding balance between my personal life and my work life. I wasn’t appreciating my own value, highlighting my strengths, or keeping a schedule that worked best for me.
Once I began incorporating Yoga and Ayurveda into my life, I realized why yoga and Ayurveda are meant to be practiced together. I reconnected to why I loved to do what I do, incorporated the right food, schedule, and lifestyle that worked for my own body, mind, and soul. There’s always a fine balance between what I want to do, what I need to do, and what I have to do and these ancient teachings have helped me find that balance. WHY “ALCHEMY”
At its core, transformation in alchemy is about the fundamental change of materials, substances, or the self, aiming at perfection or improvement. This is most famously symbolized by the goal of transmuting base metals into noble metals, such as lead into gold, reflecting a broader metaphor for spiritual or personal refinement and enlightenment. Alchemists believed that through a series of processes and stages (often described as nigredo, albedo, and rubedo), both substances and the alchemist's soul could be purified and elevated to a higher state. Ayurveda offers the knowledge and practices to provide deep transformation for your body, mind, heart, and spirit. An imbalance like a disease, weight gain, insomnia, digestive trouble, heartbreak, anxiety, or general disinterest in your life can be used as opportunity to transform into your most amazing self. There will be yoga and Ayurveda education provided, but it won’t be overwhelming to anyone new - or boring for anyone who is not new to these teachings.
Q: I am a yoga teacher. Can I use this for my Required Continuing Education with Yoga Alliance?
A: Yes! You can use this for Continuing Education Hours. Lisa is registered with The Yoga Alliance and is a Continuing Education Provider.
Q: Do I have to practice yoga?
A: You will have access to yoga classes, but they’re totally optional (although encouraged!)
Q: Do you accept payment plans?
